About This Job Opportunity

  • Responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing production of project submissions including design development and construction documents and design development.

  • Interfaces with the Project Architect, Project Manager, and the Senior Designer on the design and technical aspects of the project.

 

What we’re looking for in our future Job Captain

  • 5 years minimum experience in commercial or Mixed-Use architectural and / or interior projects.

  • Preferred related experience in commercial or Mixed-Use architectural projects.

  • Experience in all phases of architectural design.

  • Experience in planning and in design of architectural and / or interior projects.

  • Experience with applications of engineering technology, construction methods and code regulations.

  • Experience or knowledge of sustainable and LEED products and process is preferable.

  • Be adept at a variety of complicated problem solving tasks.

  • Preparation of Construction Documents.

  • Construction Administration

  • Provide technical assistance and provide quality control reviews of production team.

  • Assist in maintaining project files.

  • Attend project meetings.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, graphic and MS Office Applications.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree and / or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from accredited school.

  • License: Not required, but preferable to have or be working toward an architectural license within 3 years of entering this position.
