Les Concierges engaged the Brereton design team to create a space that reflected their desire to be modern, connect seamlessly with their new brand program and fit to the “open industrial” feel of their new buildings existing architectural style. Spaces were to offer maximum flexibility and provide an environment that would cater to their international clientele and vendor network.
The design program started with the upper-most floor being a flexible space that could configure to a variety of expandable meeting/conferencing areas and still be an appropriate area for hosting a very large social event. Between scheduling the space provides for full service employee break area and gallery space.
The middle floor served as the reception and executive office area and the lower floor is a 24/7 call center space connected by a sculptural glass and steel open stair. Many design elements needed to be knit together so the three distinct areas shared a cohesive design thread.
The project is unique in a variety of ways. The architectural footprint of the building was originally 3 separate buildings that ownership knitted together. Our challenge was to take these separate environments and create a cohesive and consistent space. The client challenged us with combining a 24/7 call center space with functional and acoustical challenges together with a highly detailed, relaxed and quite corporate executive space.
