A living embodiment of Mies Van Der Rohe’s guiding principle that form follows function, Paloma believes functional design makes everyone’s life better.  Growing up in Brazil she found Architecture a calming counterpoint, bringing order to a sometimes-chaotic culture.  She enjoys problem solving and searching out solutions at every level, be it a planning solution or working with local jurisdictions for building permit approval. She strives to be a catalyst for positive change. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Uniao Dinamica das Catartas, Paloma’s experience includes residential, healthcare and workplace design.  She is currently working towards a degree in Interior Design from UC Berkeley extension.
