Growing up between New York City and the Dominican Republic, Sarah developed an appreciation for how culture and the built environment shape the way people experience a place. Inspired by the contrast between these two communities, she pursued architecture at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where she earned her Bachelor of Architecture. While studying abroad in Florence, Italy, Sarah developed a passion for museum and exhibit design, inspired by the opportunity to explore how architecture can tell stories and preserve history. As a designer, she is drawn to creating thoughtful spaces that connect people with culture, history, and place. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys designing jewelry, reading, and spending time in nature.
